Adams River Sockey Salmon Run.
During September and October, the quiet
banks of Adams River, British Columbia (405km inland from the Pacific Ocean), becomes the scene
of a natural miracle. This is when sockeye salmon make their way back to the
gravel beds of the Adams River, the place of their birth, to spawn and die.
2014 was a dominate run year, so we went there this year to photograph some of this natural
wonder. Here are some of the images we made.
