Online Buyer Alert! - Canadasflorists.com

Before Christmas I ordered a flower arrangement from Canadasflorists.com and paid extra for a deluxe arrangement to be sent to a loved one in Oshawa. I would not have known they delivered a standard arrangement but billed me for the higher amount unless the recipient had not told me that the flowers were not up to usual snuff. She knows I spend upwards of $100. When I alerted Canadasflorists.com, they provided a credit only for the difference between the deluxe arrangement and the standard one. The embarrassment was all mine. They have lost me as a customer and approx $600 to $700 in future annual orders. I would not recommend them.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Here is a picture of the Canadasflorist.com arrangement I ordered from their online ad, and another picture of the more expensive arrangement that they actually shipped. See the difference in quality? Oh yeah, they were supposed to ship 10 stems, but only sent 9 stems. Order at your own risk.

Sadly, I have made the same mistake. I ordered an arrangement from canadasflorists.com on Feb 11, for delivery on Valentine's Day. I paid the premium for the "Deluxe" arrangement with delivery. When I received their invoice by email, I was directed to contact a local florist DIRECTLY for any questions or problems. What am I paying YOU CLOWNS for??

The arrangement was not delivered as of 3:30 pm, so I contacted the telephone number for canadasflorists.com, where I repeatedly got an answering machine (sounded like a 1980's model) advising me to leave a message. I began calling local florist shops to find out who the order was placed with. Not only was the "standard" arrangement delivered, it was not delivered until after 6pm. What gives??

I will not use this service again in the future, and would not recommend using canadasflorists.com to anyone. BUYER BEWARE!
